ABOUT THE CANDIDATES
BONDS
Dripping Springs School Bonds: (Facts only, not advocating for or against)
Hays CISD School Bonds: (Facts only, not advocating for or against)

Wimberley ISD Bonds (Facts only, not advocating for or against)
https://www.wimberleyisd.net/about/bond-2025
Note that the Hays County Democratic Party County Executive Board endorsed passing the bonds for both Dripping Springs ISD and Hays CISD. (Wimberley’s was not brought up at the meeting, so wasn’t included in the endorsement.)
Overcrowding does not help education, and these improvements are much needed. Contrary to the language (required by state law, passed by Republicans trying to harm public education) that says “This will increase your taxes”, your taxes will be the same if the bonds pass, or if they don’t. Any increase in taxes will be due to increase in valuation of your home or business, which is NOT under the control of the School Boards.
IN ADDITION, Bonds on MUDS: Mason in San Marcos and Buda MUD#2.
