What is your background and campaign platform?

I’m a businesswoman who was born and raised in Texas. I’m happily married, with two grown kids and an elderly mom. With a business degree from UT Austin and 30 years of work experience, I have the skills needed to be your representative. If elected, I will work to change Texas’ barbaric abortion laws, provide adequate funding for public schools, empower local governments to better deal with growth, and speed-up our transition to renewable energy.

What Democratic values to you share/agree with the most?

I believe that government should act to improve the general well being of the people, that voting should be encouraged, and that diversity is our strength.

What Democratic values do you or would you apply to your work if elected?

If elected, I would work to increase freedom, equality, and opportunity for everyone.

How do you handle making difficult decisions, especially ones with which you do not agree?

When there's a difficult decision to make, I gather input from the best experts I can find, and then I pick the best way forward. If I ever have to make a decision that I disagree with, I would need a very good reason, like needing to compromise in order accomplish a greater good.

Will you support the Hays County Democratic Party by your presence at events and, if possible, financially? If not, please explain why.

Yes, I'll continue to come to meetings and events, and I'll continue to support HCDP financially because y'all are good people doing great work. Thank you!
