Texas Democratic Party has many training resources. Most are video, but sometimes live ones, too. Check them out!
Also on that page are trainings from other groups- chief among them National Democratic Training Committee (NDTC). Very good trainings, again many videos, but sometimes live one, too. Sign up and they’ll let you know.

TO WORK IN ELECTIONS:

Election works are needed for the Primary, Runoff and General Elections. Ideally, we should ahve equal numbers of Democrats and Republicans at every polling location.

You can do online training HERE.  After you’ve completed the training and have your certificate, then contact Nick Hoover, Hays Dems 2nd Vice Chair, in charge of Elections.

TO BE A VOLUNTEER DEPUTY REGISTRAR:

You can take the online training offered by Travis County HERE. Once you have successfully completed it, and received your certificate (it may take a few days to get the certificate), email it to the Hays Elections Office and they’ll send a reciprocal VDR registration for Hays County. 
Or, you can check with the Hays Co. Elections Office and go there when they do a live training.
