Ways to Help Those Impacted by the Floods
Though the rains have brought much-needed relief to the drought, the continued rains have also brought disaster to so many. We mourn the loss of lives—especially those of the children.
Remembering the generosity of so many during the devastating floods in Hays County in 2015, let’s do what we can now to help our neighbors.
Flooding began in the Hill Country along the Guadalupe River, and now Liberty Hill, Leander, and Georgetown are also experiencing severe flooding.
If you are able, here are some ways you can help:
Local Support:
Dripping Springs area: Terri Purdy, a local volunteer, is coordinating local support.
Flood Buckets are especially needed to help with cleanup. If you’d like to contribute supplies, please see the updated wishlist here:

Terri asks that you order through this Amazon list- there are specific amounts of each item, so that the buckets can be put together.
Kyle area: Precinct 2 County Commissioner, Dr. Michelle Cohen, Kyle City Councilman Robert Rizzo and Claudia Zapata are coordinated donations in Kyle.
Drop off your donations on July 6 from 8-noon to 5458Fm 2770, Kyle. They did a great job!
